Privacy Policy for Svar

Last updated: July 29, 2026
The short version: Svar plays music that's already on your device. It doesn't collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data with anyone. Everything the app reads or stores stays on your device unless you personally choose to export or share it.

1. Who this applies to

This Privacy Policy describes how Svar ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use the Android application. Svar is developed and published by [Your Name / Developer Name].

2. Information we access

Svar requests the following permissions, used strictly for the purposes below:

3. What we don't do

4. Data you store locally

Playlists, theme preferences, playback settings, and similar app settings are stored locally on your device using Android's standard local storage. This data is not uploaded to any server we operate.

5. Backup & restore

If you use the Backup & Restore feature, Svar creates a JSON file containing your playlists and settings and saves it to a location you choose, using Android's standard file picker. This file stays under your control — Svar does not upload it anywhere. Importing works the same way, reading only the file you explicitly select.

6. Children's privacy

Svar is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.

8. Contact
